Don Peila

Don Peila Tractor Repair was established in 1984 and Don Peila is the owner of the company.
Prior to 1984 Don was employed by three separate John Deere dealerships as technician service manager and as technical training instructor. He has attended numerous regional and John Deere factory instructional schools and has extensive training on John Deere industrial products.
He has completed all of the required JD FOS (fundamentals of service tests) (engine, transmission, hydraulics Etc.) as well as passing all regional and factory training requirements)
Don has 33 years of experience repairing all types of John Deere industrial products and enjoys restoring older John Deere agricultural equipment (please see Don’s restored JD AO tractor on the home page) This AO was deemed by Deere & Co. as having been restored well enough to been invited to John Deere's 200th year celebration in Iowa.
Don Peila Tractor Repair now includes in its name the word “parts” and it is there to let everyone know we do more than repair machines we also supply parts, good used and new aftermarket parts at reasonable prices.

Wes Cowden

Wes Cowden: Service technician
Wes is our newest employee and has been with the firm since 2001
Wes brought with him many years of experience repairing heavy equipment as well as large truck operation and maintenance.
He is meticulous and has integrated his skills very naturally into parts identification and inventory control.
Wes has lived in the Rogue Valley all his life and is locally well known and respected.

Robert (Bob) Brick: Parts manager:

Bob’s background began at a mechanical technical school then to a large granite quarry as equipment operator and repair, was a licensed explosives and hoisting engineer. After seventeen years of service he resigned his position in 1977 as Quarry Wire Saw superintendent to move to Oregon.
Since 1977 he has worked as a field mechanic for the following dealerships:
Terex,Madill, Champion (Oregon) Caterpillar (Florida) Detroit Diesel Allison, Terex, Champion and Ingersoll Rand (Las Vegas NV) John Deere (Oregon)

Bob received factory training and awards from all of the above dealerships.
He was the recipient of Doctor of Motors award and completed the John Deere FOS
(Fundamentals of Service) tests as well as completing required testing to be named a Terex Crown Craftsman
A work related injury curtailed his fieldwork but Bob finds the parts portion of the industry well suited to his past work experience.

Cindy Taylor

Cindy is our newest employee. She started as receptionist, secretary and office assistant. She has a great deal of office experience. Although new to the industrail tractor industry she is gaining knoweldge about it each day.

Cindy moved to the southern Oregon region from CA last year to be closer to family.

She is busy in fixing up her home in Butte Falls
